Being remembrance day today, it seems somewhat appropriate to be posting images of the war museum in Dresden, Germany which reopened last month. New York architect Daniel Libeskind did an outstanding job of “boldly interrupting” the existing building. Concrete and steel cuts the classical building creating a unique and what I believe is a beautiful juxtaposition. It is now Germany’s largest museum.
